Entry Level HVAC Technician (Training Provided)

*Pay:* $20.00 - $24.00 per hour *Entry-Level HVAC Technician – Paid Training Provided* *Start a skilled trade career with a company that’s been doing it right since 1999.* Meeks Heating & Air is a multigenerational, family-run HVAC company, and we’re adding to our residential service department. We’re looking for people who are good with their hands, show up when they say they will, and treat customers the way they’d want their own family treated. If that’s you, we can teach you the rest. You don’t need an HVAC background to apply. Many great technicians started out in auto repair, maintenance, warehouse work, the military, or another trade. We’ll pair you with experienced team members and give you the hands-on training you need to grow from preventive maintenance into a long-term HVAC career. *A Typical Day* Most days, you’ll head out in a company vehicle to customers’ homes for scheduled heating and cooling maintenance visits. At each stop, you’ll: * Clean, check, and tune up furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners * Look for safety issues, worn parts, and anything affecting efficiency * Walk the homeowner through what you found, in plain language * Offer honest options. We don’t do pressure tactics or quotas on upsells. * Take photos and fill out service notes so our office and repair techs have the full picture * Keep your truck stocked, organized, and presentable You’ll also coordinate with our office staff, repair technicians, and installers, and attend regular training sessions on both equipment and customer communication. *You’ll Fit In Well Here If You…* * Like figuring out how things work and fixing them * Are reliable, on time, and take pride in finishing the job right * Can talk comfortably with homeowners and explain things clearly * Are comfortable working alone at a job site, but also enjoy being part of a team * Don’t mind hot attics, tight crawl spaces, or working outside in the weather * Want a trade that offers steady work and real room to grow *Requirements* * 21 or older (required by our commercial vehicle insurance) * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * Neat appearance and a courteous, respectful attitude * Prior HVAC or mechanical experience is a plus but not necessary *What You Get* * Full-time, year-round work.
