Entry Level Welder/Shop Assistant

We are looking for an entry-level stainless TIG welder/fabricator and shop assistant. Must have some experience welding – either completed courses at a Technical College or hands-on experience. All candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to show knowledge and skill. Duties may include: Welding and fabricating with Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminum. Keeping the shop extremely clean and organized to include floors, work benches, machining areas, organizing parts and inventory storage, assisting coworkers with their projects as needed; and keeping vehicles in proper condition (clean, battery maintained, tire pressures set, etc.) · Candidates must be 18 years of age and have a valid Washington state driver’s license along with a good driving record. Must have US citizenship or be authorized to work in US. · Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day · Must be able to work overtime as needed. We are a drug-free team. Final candidates are required to take a pre-employment drug test. This position is full-time (40 hours per week). M-Th 6:30am-4:00pm and F 6:30am-10:30am. We offer overtime at various times throughout the year as projects require.
