HVAC Apprentice

*Overview* As an HVAC Pre-Apprentice, you’ll support experienced technicians as they install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment. You’ll build practical skills on job sites, learn to use hand tools safely, and help deliver reliable service to customers and building occupants. *Responsibilities* * Assist with HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair, including air conditioning, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. * Help troubleshoot equipment and mechanical systems; observe electrical diagnostics and follow schematics under technician guidance. * Support field service work, equipment repair, and property maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and appliance repair. * Use hand tools and follow safety procedures while working around electrical systems, building automation systems, and mechanical equipment. * Communicate professionally with customers and team members; keep work areas and equipment organized. *Experience* * Construction, maintenance, property maintenance, or mechanic experience is helpful. Service technician, field service, or appliance repair experience is also welcome. * Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with equipment troubleshooting, mechanical systems repair, or HVAC system repair are preferred. *Requirements* * Valid Driver's License Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
