Light Commercial HVAC/R Apprentice

\*No previous experience required\* Mr. C Refrigeration is looking for motivated individuals interested in starting a career in commercial refrigeration and HVAC. Previous refrigeration experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work. This is an opportunity to learn a skilled trade while working alongside experienced technicians on commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment throughout the Louisville and Southern Indiana area. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, not just find another job. Job Responsibilities \* Assist experienced technicians with commercial refrigeration and HVAC service, maintenance, and installation \* Learn to troubleshoot refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems \* Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs \* Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment \* Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers \* Follow company and jobsite safety procedures \* Continue developing technical skills as experience is gained Qualifications \* No previous refrigeration experience required \* Mechanical, HVAC, electrical, construction, maintenance, or similar experience is a plus, but not required \* Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools \* Dependable and willing to show up ready to work \* Willing and able to learn from experienced technicians \* Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different environments \* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the trade \* Valid driver’s license \* Positive attitude and interest in building a career in the skilled trades We’re looking for someone we can invest in and train.
