HVAC Helper

*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and motivated HVAC Helper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. A strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this position. *Duties* * Assist HVAC technicians with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. * Support maintenance tasks by performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. * Help troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter. * Participate in the repair of mechanical components and appliances related to HVAC systems. * Aid in plumbing tasks as needed during installations or repairs. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. * Follow safety protocols while working on-site to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. *Experience* Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of HVAC principles and practices. Preferred skills include: * Experience in construction or field service roles related to HVAC/R systems. * Familiarity with HVAC design concepts and schematics. * Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles, air conditioning systems, and boiler operations. * Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair, welding, or appliance repair is advantageous. * Previous property maintenance experience is a plus, particularly involving HVAC or plumbing work.
