HVAC Install Apprentice

*Overview* As a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Install Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to install and maintain heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment. You’ll build practical skills on job sites, use hand tools safely, and learn how mechanical and electrical systems work together. This is a paid apprentice position. *Responsibilities* * Assist with HVAC system installation, maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting. * Use hand tools and an ohmmeter to assist with electrical diagnostics and equipment repair under supervision. * Follow safety procedures and provide courteous customer service at residential or commercial sites. * Your impact: Careful installation and maintenance help customers maintain comfortable, dependable indoor environments. *Experience* * Construction experience, mechanical knowledge, or experience with mechanical systems repair is helpful; service technician or property maintenance experience is also valued. * Familiarity with HVAC design, HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration), electrical systems, or building automation systems is a plus. * A valid driver’s license and ability to drive a work van may be required for job-site travel. * Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification is preferred where applicable; willingness to learn and follow safe work practices is essential.
