*Machinist / Die Maker helper* We are looking to add a *full time 1st shift Machinist / Die Maker* helperto our team. *Titan Tool and Die *specializes in the manufacturing of Progressive Stamping dies, Line dies, Pre-pierce / Cut-off dies and Small Lift-Carry Air Transfer dies for the metal stamping and roll-form industry. We offer die repair service and die engineering changes. We also offer precision machining services. * We have our own presses for die tryout. * Details for our dies are made in house. * We have five CNC Vertical Machining Centers, two Fanuc Wire-cut Electric Discharge Machines. * We utilize CATIA, Auto CAD, Fast Blank, Master CAM and VISI. Requirements: * Machinist experience of 3 years mandatory. * Experience building dies desirable * Set up and operate manual machines: lathe, drill press, conventional milling machine (Bridgeport), surface grinder, etc. * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals and specifications. * Make new details from prints or duplicates from existing details. * Determine necessary steps to inspect, repair and test the dies. * Die disassembly and assembly. * Suggest production process improvements. *Tool and Die Maker Apprenticeship Program. *Titan Tool and Die offers this program to our outstanding machinists. Courses are taken at Muskegon Community College.
