Plumber Helper

*Overview* Join the plumbing team as a Plumber Helper and build hands-on experience supporting construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects. You’ll assist with pipe installation and plumbing system maintenance and repair while following safety protocols and applicable building codes. Your impact: Careful, code-conscious work helps customers and building occupants rely on safe, functioning plumbing systems. *Duties* * Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on construction sites and during remodeling projects. * Prepare materials, measure and cut pipe, and support pipe threading and welding tasks as directed. * Use hand tools and power tools safely; keep tools and work areas organized. * Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings to help identify pipe routes and installation requirements. * Communicate professionally with customers and crew members, and follow site safety procedures and building code requirements. *Experience* * Construction experience, construction site experience, or construction plumbing experience is helpful; handyman, remodeling, or maintenance experience is also relevant. * Mechanical knowledge, basic math skills, and familiarity with plumbing, pipe installation, or plumbing system maintenance and repair are valuable. * Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely; experience with pipe threading or welding is a plus. * Blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings are preferred. * Customer service skills and consistent adherence to safety protocols and building code compliance are important.
