Learn while you earn at Greenwell plumbingQ As an Plumbing Apprentice, you'll gain practical experience maintaining, excavating or repairing plumbing systems in both residential and light commercial settings. You will recieve a wide variety of catered hands-on field training with a focus on safety, alongside Licensed Plumbing Professionals. Pay: $18-$20 hourly Under the direct supervision of a Lead Plumber, you will: Learn the basics of the plumbing trade and increase your knowledge and responsibilities as you grow. Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business. Learn how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services. Work alongside customer service representatives and dispatch team members to ensure overall success of the business. Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck. Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and retreats. Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, and option sheets. Measure, cut, and thread pipe as directed Assist in installing plumbing fixtures or equipment, assist with excavation and sewer crew during repipes. Complete plumbing repairs, inspections, installations, and other related in-home service calls for residential customers as allowed. Required Qualifications: A strong desire to build a career in the skilled trades Willingness to learn, work hard, and show up with a positive attitude Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Preferred experience: Recent graduate of a plumbing trade program 6 months of plumbing experience
