Remodeling Carpenter Apprentice

We're looking for an apprentice with at least a year of hands-on residential remodeling experience who wants to learn every part of the trade and grow toward running projects as a Project Manager. You'll work alongside our Project Manager on kitchen, bath and whole-home remodels in clients' homes. You'll sharpen your finish carpentry, tile, drywall and paint skills, and you'll learn the client and project side of the business: scheduling, communication and job tracking in Buildertrend. YOUR GROWTH PATH - Apprentice: Learn our systems, standards and jobsite habits - Carpenter / Lead: Take on finish carpentry, tile and more responsibility on site - Project Manager: Run jobs, lead crews and be the client's go-to person How fast you move up depends on your skills and initiative. Pay grows with each step. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Demo and prep kitchens, baths and whole-home projects while protecting the client's home - Assist with framing, layout changes, cabinet installs, trim and general carpentry - Learn finish carpentry, tile, drywall and painting from experienced pros - Load and unload materials, and keep jobsites clean, organized and safe - Help the Project Manager with daily tasks and punch lists - Update job progress, notes and photos in Buildertrend - Represent Good Guys professionally in clients' homes - Keep your work vehicle clean and organized WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 1+ year of residential remodeling experience (required). Kitchen, bath or whole-home remodels. PAY & BENEFITS - $20–$24/hour depending on remodeling experience, with raises as you advance - Paid time off: up to 52 hours in year one, increasing with tenure - 6 paid holidays after one year (New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) - On-the-job training and mentorship - Clear path to advancement into carpentry and project management - Flexible schedule SCHEDULE Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
