Skilled Carpenter Helper – Residential Remodeling Revamped Renovations is looking for a dependable, hands-on Carpenter Helper to work alongside our Lead Carpenter on residential remodeling projects throughout the Northwest Suburbs. We’re looking for someone who already has construction experience, is comfortable using tools, and can assist with a variety of remodeling tasks. The right candidate is hardworking, takes direction well, and cares about doing quality work. This is a full-time position for someone who wants to be part of a team and continue building their remodeling skills. Job Responsibilities * Assist the Lead Carpenter with daily construction and renovation tasks. * Help with kitchen, bathroom, and other residential remodeling projects. * Perform general carpentry, demolition, drywall, and flooring work. * Measure, cut, and prepare tile for installation. * Assist with tile installation and shower preparation. * Help with framing, wall construction, and other basic structural work. * Safely operate hand tools and power tools. * Move materials, prepare work areas, and help keep projects on schedule. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. * Work as part of a team to complete projects to company standards. Qualifications * 3–5+ years of remodeling or construction experience preferred. * Previous hands-on experience with tile cutting and preparation. * Familiarity with framing and general carpentry. * Comfortable using common construction tools and equipment. * Able to follow instructions and work closely with a Lead Carpenter. * Reliable transportation to job sites. * Own basic hand tools. * Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and attention to detail.
