Qualified individuals will benefit from steady year-round work, competitive pay, overtime pay, paid vacation days, professional work environment and room for growth.* *Job Summary:* It is the responsibility of the Helper to assist the team in installing basic HVAC systems and any other related HVAC components correctly and in a timely manner. No experience necessary; you will be trained on the job to learn the duties listed below. *Job Duties:* * Work safely following company policies * Assist in installing HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications * Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing * Install flex duct systems in residential and light commercial buildings * Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment * Pre-measure jobs to identify proper materials required for install * Receive, verify and load all equipment and materials needed for each job * Provide assistance as directed by management * Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors * Any other assigned duties as directed by management *We are a Drug Free Company* *Job Requirements* *Education and Experience:* * High School Diploma or Equivalent *Key Competencies* * Effective verbal communication skills * Honest and dependable * Mechanically inclined * Able to be trained to distinguish between different HVAC equipment * Self-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team * Professional Company Image * Valid FL driver’s License with a good driving record * Must be able to pass a criminal background check * Must be able to pass drug screening * Must be able to read and write in English * Must have a working cell phone with texting capability * Must reside in or near Pensacola, FL *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs. * Able to tolerate temperatures above 100 degrees for extended periods of time * Able to work overtime if job goes late and occasional Saturday mornings during the busy season * Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl Resume or letter of job history and experience can also be mailed to Scott Huntinghouse Air Conditioning & Heating, LLC 4771 Bayou Blvd Suite 3-206 Pensacola, FL 32503 Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: * Paid time off Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Language: * English (Required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
