Laborer/Carpenter Apprentice

*Overview* *Timber & Beam | Come Build Something That Lasts.* Join the team as a Laborer/Carpenter Apprentice and build practical skills while supporting residential construction, remodeling, and restoration projects. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople, help prepare job sites, and contribute to quality work from framing through finishing. Your impact: Careful preparation and dependable workmanship help crews complete safe, durable projects for homeowners. *Duties* * Prepare work areas, move materials, and perform heavy lifting while following site safety practices. * Assist with frame, trim, and residential carpentry; concrete forming; rebar installation; metal stud framing; roofing; siding; and drywall. * Support fixture and cabinet installation, door hanging, caulking, plastering, stucco, tile laying, construction painting, and assembly. * Read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings; help with construction estimating and material preparation. * Use hand tools, woodworking power tools, woodworking machines, and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment as assigned; follow power tool safety procedures. *Requirements* * Interest in carpentry, woodworking, and learning a range of construction tasks; construction or construction-site experience is helpful. * Familiarity with wood construction materials, fabrication, restoration, or water damage restoration is an asset. Restoration industry, handyman, and remodeling experience are also welcome. * Ability to follow instructions, work safely with tools, and collaborate with a crew. * Physical ability to lift and carry materials and perform hands-on work at active job sites.
