MACHINIST- Entry Level

Job Description *Requirements: Minimum 1-3 years experience in machining.* *Experience:* This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to learn and grow into a position or more responsibility and pay. Learn to program and operate Mazak vertical machining centers. Setting up and operating Manual Mills and Lathes. Experience with G code is a plus. *Job Purpose:* Produce machined parts utilizing manual or computer numerical control (CNC) machines, maintain quality and safety standards. *Duties:* \* Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials specifications; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. \* Complete production requirements by expediting work results; monitoring progress; resolving problems. \* Maintain specifications by taking measurements, troubleshooting processes,adjusting programming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. \* Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
