Commercial HVAC / Refrigeration Helper

*DPE Services* is looking for a dependable and motivated *HVAC / Refrigeration Helper* to join our team. This position will assist our experienced technicians with service, maintenance, and job preparation while also helping keep our warehouse and equipment organized. *This is an Entry Level Position * Job Responsibilities * Assist Senior HVAC/Refrigeration Technicians with service calls, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting. * Perform *Preventive Maintenance (PM)* on HVAC and refrigeration equipment. * Help inspect, clean, and maintain equipment as directed by Senior Technicians. * Gather and prepare *parts, tools, materials, and supplies* needed for scheduled jobs. * Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials as needed. * Maintain organization and cleanliness of company vehicle, tools, and equipment. * Perform general *warehouse maintenance duties*, including organizing inventory, receiving and stocking parts, cleaning, and maintaining a safe work environment. * Assist with keeping accurate inventory of commonly used parts and supplies. * Follow all company safety procedures and instructions from Senior Technicians and management. * Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers. * Be willing to learn and develop skills in the HVAC and commercial refrigeration industry. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements * Previous HVAC or refrigeration experience is *required*. * Willingness to learn and work as part of a team. * Ability to work in hot, cold, and physically demanding environments. * Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials. * *Clean driving record.* * Must have a valid driver's license. * *Must be able to pass a background check.* * Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. * Ability to work independently when assigned tasks and follow directions from Senior Technicians. * Must be willing to work occasional weekends or after-hours when needed.
