WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced installers while taking an active role in residential heating and cooling system installations. Your responsibilities will include: * Assisting with the installation and replacement of residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment. * Performing installation tasks independently when qualified and under the direction of a Lead Installer. * Assisting with ductwork modifications, venting, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and equipment connections. * Helping remove existing equipment and preparing job sites for new installations. * Following installation specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes. * Properly using and maintaining HVAC installation tools and equipment. * Loading, unloading, and organizing equipment and materials needed for each installation. * Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites. * Treating customers' homes and property with care and respect. * Working efficiently with your installation team to complete jobs correctly and on schedule. * Continuing to develop your technical skills and installation knowledge with the goal of becoming a Lead Installer. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR *We're looking for someone who has a solid foundation in HVAC installation and wants to keep getting better.* Our ideal candidate: * *Has a minimum of 1 year of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience.* * Has experience assisting with furnace and air conditioner installations. * Understands basic HVAC installation procedures, tools, materials, and equipment. * Has experience working with sheet metal, PVC venting, condensate piping, and refrigerant line sets. * Can follow directions and complete assigned installation tasks with limited supervision when appropriate. * Understands the importance of quality workmanship and job-site safety. * Is mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools. * Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right. * Works well with others and communicates professionally. * Has a positive attitude and is open to coaching and learning new techniques. * Has a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. * Can perform the physical demands of HVAC installation, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation. *Preferred, but not required:* * EPA Section 608 Certification. * HVAC trade school or technical training. * Experience installing Lennox equipment. * Familiarity with residential HVAC installation codes and best practices.
